Satellite imagery lets us monitor environmental change at a scale field surveys can't match. Our remote sensing team processes Sentinel, Landsat, MODIS, and commercial Planet imagery into decision-ready land cover, vegetation, and water-extent products.
Analytical Toolkit
We perform supervised and AI-assisted image classification for land use / land cover (LULC) mapping, multi-temporal change detection to quantify deforestation, urban expansion, or water-body change, and index-based analysis (NDVI, NDWI, NDBI) for vegetation health, surface water extent, and built-up area monitoring. Atmospheric correction and image enhancement are applied as standard, not an optional add-on.
Scale
Google Earth Engine lets us run these analyses at province- or country-scale without the local compute constraints that limit desktop-only workflows — meaning national land cover updates or multi-year change detection are practical engagements, not multi-month bottlenecks.
