Indices & Methods
We compute the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) and Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) for meteorological drought, satellite-derived Vegetation Condition Index (VCI) and NDVI anomalies for agricultural drought stress, and streamflow/reservoir-level analysis for hydrological drought — combined into a single monitoring picture rather than three disconnected reports.
